HAIR's Lauren Elder joins Broadway Speaks OUT Concert 8/24
The popular Broadway Speaks OUT concert series is moving to a new home on August 24th. The concerts are now FREE and at the popular midtown nightclub, Vlada Lounge.
Starting August 24th at 11:00pm join host Martin Gould Cummings and piano master Rob Baumgartner as they jam out for equal rights with Lauren Elder of the Tony Award winning revival of HAIR.
Lauren Elder recently made her Broadway debut in the musical Hair. A musical theater vixen since the age of 3, Lauren has performed roles such as Audrey, in Little Shop of Horrors, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Rizzo in Grease , and Medea in Medea in Disneyland. A lover of jazz and all things old, Lauren has performed in New York's premiere jazz clubs including Birdland and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Lauren hopes that you understand that marriage is a civil right that should be granted to all, and that you recycle, because we only have one Earth.
