Prop 8 Rally in Union Square

I was hoping to be in Union Square today celebrating the repeal of Proposition 8. Instead I was marching in protest of the California Supreme Courts decision to uphold proposition 8.
Yes 18,000 LGBT couples will be able to keep their marriages but what about the others who are yet to wed?
How can we live in the land of the free when civil rights are being denied to people?
I was deeply touched and overwhelmed but the out cry in Union Square today.
Thousands of people turned out for this protest.
It was bitter-sweet.
The LGBT community has united as the new civil rights movement in America.
